Peru closed 2020 as the fourth largest exportes of ginger and sixth-highest yield per hectare in the whole world, reported the Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (Midagri)
"The Peruvian organic ginger has an excellent quality, small size, and a much more intense flavor than the conventional ginger, which has allowed us to promote it as a unique product with enormous potential to conquer new markets," said the ministry.
After Chine and Thailand, Peru Would be the third global producer of this product.
